» What makes good software?

An interesting question and one that could cause WWIII in some circles!

As teachers you need access to software that ...
» understands both basic and complex teaching principles
» applies sound teaching practices to the activities provided
» and identifies and monitors current educational learning outcomes / indicators

However, often you encounter ...
» a lack of appropriate tools available
» software that is mostly entertainment and lacks sound educational value
» packages that have little long-term credibility

It is the obvious lack of appropriate Australian software packages that provide both a fun learning environment with meaningful activities that has prompted us to create all Australian software based on the identified learning outcomes and indicators of the Department of Education (NSW).

The software we create is designed and developed using sound educational practices and proven teaching strategies. During the development process it is evaluated by teachers in the local schools who provide valuable ideas and suggestions for any improvements which we endeavour to implement.
